• Dinner-theater in the Great Hall of Church of the Resurrection on Oct. 19 and 20 will be the play "Social Security" presented by the Oswego Players following a ham dinner. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the dinner with the show following at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for dinner and show are $30.   • On Oct. 20, our church will host a program on the effects of physical, emotional or psychological trauma, a solutions-oriented workshop for survivors and support givers. "Processing Trauma: Managing Its Effects in a Stressful World" will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the rectory classrooms. Panelists will be Abby Beth Chack of Beacon Psychological Services, Sharon Terry, a survivor, and our rector, the Rev. Anne Wichelns. For more information, email ptsdworkshop@outlook.com.

  • Trivia Night, a major fundraiser for Blessings in a Backpack, will take place Nov. 2 at the Elk's Lodge in Oswego.
